He was given a tour of the McLaren Production Centre, in Woking, led by Mike Flewitt, McLaren Automotive Chief Executive Officer. Along the way, The Duke met some of the company’s 2,100 workforce who designed and hand-assembled a record 3, 286 cars last year, the majority exported around the world.

McLaren 720S Makes Italian Debut At The Open-Air Show Salone dell Auto di Torino

McLaren Automotive will showcase the recently launched 720S to an Italian audience for the first time at the Salone dell’Auto di Torino Parco Valentino, from 7th – 11th June. The public will get the opportunity to discover the McLaren 720S in Azores Orange on the McLaren stand near the “Farina” entrance to the Park and for a strictly limited number of visitors there will be an opportunity to test a McLaren 720S in Memphis Red during the weekend.

McLaren Automotive will celebrate three years of success in China at Auto Shanghai 2017 (19 – 28 April), with the national debut of the new McLaren 720S supercar and the unveiling of a 570GT Commemorative Edition, of which just three examples will be produced. The two cars will line up as part of the McLaren showcase at the biennial Chinese motor show, which positions itself as the world’s largest automobile trade fair.
