SEOUL . McLaren Automotive offered Korean guests an exclusive look at the latest model in its Super Series range in Seoul, South Korea. Lighter, faster, and even more dynamically capable than its McLaren 650S predecessor, and with unparalleled levels of interior space and sophistication, the new McLaren 720S has a breadth and depth of abilities that involve and satisfy  drivers.

The new McLaren 720S introduces the second-generation Super Series, the product family at the heart of the McLaren brand. Boasting unparalleled performance, the McLaren 720S pushes the limits of possibilities for  a supercar, incorporating the widest range of dynamic capability of any McLaren, and fusing visual drama, state-of-the-art technologies, and aerodynamic purity to introduce a new generation of McLaren’s design language.

George Biggs, Managing Director, McLaren Automotive Asia Pacific said:
“We are thrilled to officially unveil the highly-anticipated McLaren 720S here in Seoul. South Korea is a key market for McLaren and, in many ways, is arguably one of the countries that tends to lead trends in Asia. The response to the new 720S has been phenomenal and mirrors the response from drivers around the globe. True to McLaren’s pioneering spirit, the McLaren 720S is a revolutionary leap forward, a high-performance supercar that is both incredible to drive and extremely striking to look at.”

Just one year after the announcement of the Track22 business plan, the 720S is the first of 15 new cars or variants to be unveiled as part of the six-year plan. As part of Track22, McLaren Automotive is significantly investing in further developing the world’s best drivers’ cars, continuing to redefine two-seater sports supercars and introduce hybrid technology to at least 50 per cent of new McLaren models by 2022, following on from the McLaren P1TM, the world’s first hybrid hypercar.

As McLaren’s first-ever replacement of a product family, the McLaren 720S renews the Super Series range at the core of entire model line up and sets new benchmarks for supercar excellence. Flanked by the Sport Series, 540C, 570S and 570GT, and Ultimate Series, P1 and P1 GTR, the Super Series consists of the 650S, 675LT and 720S.

The innovation of the 720S provides an insight into the future of McLaren’s world-class supercars, with further expansion in the Sports Series and Ultimate Series families still to be revealed in the coming years.

Deliveries of the McLaren 720S will commence in Korea in late 2017. For more information, contact McLaren Seoul (02-3482-6565).
