Kanoo Motors S.P.C., a leading luxury automotive retailer and the official distributor of McLaren in the Kingdom of Bahrain, unveiled the brand new state-of-the-art McLaren showroom and service facility in Tubli. The showroom was inaugurated by Chairman of McLaren, H.E. Shaikh Mohammed Bin Essa Al Khalifa, Kanoo Motors Directors Mr. Ebrahim M. Kanoo and Mr. Talal F. Kanoo, and Managing Director of McLaren Middle East, Africa & Latin America, Mr. Andreas Bareis.

The exclusive launch event was attended by around 200 invitees. The 570S Spider, McLaren’s latest addition to the Sports Series range, was revealed on this occasion as the highlight of the evening.

The new 3000 m2 state-of-the-art showroom and after sales facility, located opposite the Toyota Plaza in Tubli, was designed to McLaren’s international standards. The fully-fledged service facility titled “Kanoo Performance”, boasts the most sophisticated and advanced automotive equipment run by highly trained, McLaren P1-certified, technical staff.

On this occasion, Chairman of McLaren, H.E. Shaikh Mohammed Bin Essa Al Khalifa, stated:
“We are delighted to have such an impressive facility for McLaren in Bahrain, having recently become the majority shareholder in the Group. Kanoo Motors has reaffirmed their outstanding capabilities with their attention to detail and long term development plans for the brand in Bahrain.”

Kanoo Motors Director, Ebrahim M. Kanoo, expressed his pride in the new facility stating:
“Kanoo Motors are honored to have been selected as the official retailer for McLaren in Bahrain. With this new showroom facility, we aim to match the highest standards in the world – those of McLaren and of our discerning customers.”

Managing Director of McLaren Middle East, Africa & Latin America, Andreas Bareis added:
“2016 was an extraordinary year for McLaren Automotive. We are on track to achieve the objectives set in our Track 22 business plan and the opening of McLaren Bahrain is an important part of this strategy. Not only is Bahrain a key market for us in the Middle East, it is also the home of our majority shareholder.”
